Dr Judith Hyslop

Dr Judy is a qualified medical doctor and has completed a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in Emergency Medicine. She is currently doing her Masters in Child Health (Neurodevelopmental Option). Her research project focuses on “A long term follow up of children who attended the Centre for Language and Hearing impaired Children”. This involves looking at educational outcomes of children who attended the Centre, and their long term difficulties.
Judy's special interests are children with language difficulties, attention deficit disorder (ADD) and ADHD, as well as the role of early intervention.
Judy is also registered to carry out Griffiths Assessments. She is at CentaPaeds every Friday doing developmental assessments and learning disorders. She also works in the Paediatric Respiratory Unit at the Johannesburg Hospital.
